Cleaning parts
Recommended washing methods
Materials normally require two or more washes, for example a pre-wash and post-wash cycle. Always refer to the Instructions For Use (IFU) for detailed washing instructions.
Where Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) is specified for cleaning, Asiga recommends using a solution 98%+ pure.
Wash in a well ventilated area.
Manual agitation
Pre-wash
This will wash the majority of uncured resin from the surface of the parts.
- Place parts in beaker for pre-wash.
- Wash for specified time in Instructions for Use (IFU)
Post-wash
Final rinse to ensure all trace of uncured resin is removed.
- Place parts in second beaker for post-wash.
- Wash for specified time in Instructions for Use (IFU)
Ultrasonic unit

Drying
Once washing cycle is complete, allow parts to air dry before progressing to next step.
Compressed air can be used to clean out cavities and channels.
